John Mitchell is stepping down from his England defence coach role after the Autumn Series to take on a new position at Wasps RFC.
Speaking about John’s decision, England head coach Eddie Jones said: "I’d like to thank John for his hard work and dedication over the last four years, he will go with the best wishes from everyone in the England team. I am sure he will do a great job in his new role at Wasps.”
The RFU is in the process of finalising a contract for a new England attack coach and the recruitment process for the defence coach role is well underway.
